METAL: To remove dirt and dust, mix a mild dish detergent with warm water. Dip a soft cloth in the water and wipe the product with the cloth. If necessary, then wipe the product with a dry and soft cloth. Avoid scraping the surface with an abrasive cloth as it can damage the surface. LEATHER: For our furniture with leather, we use the type SIERRA from CAMO leather, which is corrected semi-aniline leather. Why does leather need cleaning and care? Leather requires important care and moisturizing products to maintain its attractive soft feel and natural look for a long time. Leather cannot regenerate itself and depends on effective external care. It can only absorb this if its pores have been cleaned and all dirt removed before application. Without regular care, leather quickly loses its attractive appearance, becomes dirty, dries out, or loses color intensity. For corrected semi-aniline leather, we recommend the 'KERALUX® Leather Care Set' from LCK, which includes cleaning and care products, sponge, and cloth. We recommend using 'KERALUX® Soft Cleaner and Care Lotion' at least twice a year. Leather can also be sensitive. Therefore, we recommend testing compatibility on a hidden area first. Cleaning: Shake the bottle well before use. Apply KERALUX® Soft Cleaner to a soft sponge and create foam by pressing the sponge. Never apply directly to the leather. Clean the leather now with light circular motions to remove dirt. Rinse the sponge regularly in warm water. Let the foam soak slightly into very dirty areas. After cleaning, wipe the leather with a damp cotton cloth. Use distilled water to avoid lime deposits. Always clean the entire leather area from seam to seam. Let the leather dry thoroughly. Care: Shake the bottle well before use. Apply 'KERALUX® Care Lotion' to a soft cloth and rub it into the leather. Apply evenly in a thin layer with light circular motions. Always from seam to seam. Never apply 'KERALUX® Care Lotion' directly onto the leather. Remove any excess lotion with a soft and clean cloth. A slight color change after application is normal and will fade over time. Important tips for general leather treatment: Please avoid direct sunlight. Sunlight and artificial light can fade the color and dry out the leather. The sun protection in the Care lotion reduces the effect of UV rays but cannot completely shield the leather. Never use chemical products or ordinary cleaning products on leather. For daily cleaning of leather, it is recommended to vacuum using a soft brush head or gently wipe the furniture with a soft, clean, dry, or wrung cloth. The most important rule for stains: Treat immediately! For beverage stains, absorb the liquid calmly with kitchen paper. Then clean with KERALUX® Cleaner. Avoid pressure and rubbing too hard. Leather furniture should always be kept at least 30 cm away from radiators. Heat dries out the leather. Intensively colored clothing (e.g. jeans), cushions, blankets, and similar items can discolor the leather. Animals, zippers, or sharp objects can damage the leather surface. Contact with these should be avoided. FABRIC: For daily cleaning and to remove dirt and dust, wipe the product with a very lightly damp cloth. To remove stains, we recommend professional cleaning.
