Material: The rug is made of PET yarn created of recycled plastic bottles making the PET rug an environmental friendly alternative suitable for any household. The material endures dirt, water and sunlight and the rug is therefore perfect for both indoor and outdoor usage. Properly hang and dry the rug if it is placed outdoors and has been exposed of rain for longer periods. Do not let the rug soak in a bath or tub of water. Daily cleaning: Use a vacuum cleaner frequently and avoid powerful vacuum heads and stiff brushes as it might damage the rug. Shedding of the rug is normal and can carefully be cut away using scissors. Stains: Immediately dab the area with a damp cotton cloth to prevent the stain from penetrating the fibers and if necessary rinse with some mild detergent. The rug can also be rinsed with a garden hose. If stains does not disappear after rinsing a professional should clean the rug. Never clean with chemicals. Floor protection: To protect the rug, carpeting and floors, such as the finish on varnished floors, vinyl floors and oiled and untreated floors, it is recommended to use a rug pad. The rug pad will also avoid colour transfers to carpeting or floors and serves as protection from heavy furniture and slipping. Size deviation: As the rug is handwoven a size deviation +/-3% is accepted, which is truly what makes each PET rug one of a kind.
